Dan C. Yates - CEO
During his 38 years in the banking industry, Dan has founded two banks – Regents Bank which he grew to over $620 million in assets in 12 years and now Endeavor Bank. In addition to creating banks from the ground up, Dan has sold, acquired, and merged banks, raised capital for banks, and, as a consultant and CEO, he has turned around banks.
Prior to co-founding Endeavor Bank, Dan served as President and CEO of Neighborhood National Bank in San Diego, a community development bank focused on low- to moderate-income communities. He is a Board Member of the Western Bankers Association and a Director of NTS, a Nasdaq public company, where he also served as the Comp Committee Chair and on the Audit Committee. Dan is a native San Diegan.
Steven D. Sefton - President
Steve has more than 35 years of banking experience in Southern California. He most recently served as President and past CEO of Regents Bank, the largest division of Los Angeles-based Grandpoint Bank, a title he held from May 2012 until joining the Endeavor team in June 2017. While with Regents, Sefton bought a bank and merged it into Regents and kept Regents growing at a healthy, double-digit clip for both loans and deposits, the key metrics in banking. In prior assignments in his career, Sefton has opened two regional offices and each time grew the region to over $100 million in loans and deposits, the size of a small bank.
Robert J. Lampert - Chief Financial Officer
Bob has over 30 years of experience in the banking, financial services, and public accounting industries. Bob co-founded Escondido-based California Community Bank. He served as its Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Corporate Secretary from its de-novo organization in December 2002 through the sale of the institution to Grandpoint Capital, Inc. in November 2012. He had overall responsibility for the financial management, treasury, accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, and planning functions of the Bank. He chaired the bank’s Asset / Liability Committee and actively participated as a member of the Executive Management, Risk Management, and Loan Committees.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of San Francisco in 1981, where he graduated first in his class, Bob became a Certified Public Accountant and spent four years with Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co.
Scott Parker – Chief Credit Officer
Scott’s 34 years in the banking industry have been devoted to working with many community-focused banks. His prior positions include several senior officer positions with San Diego community banks. Most recently he was Regional Manager of Pacific Mercantile Bank. Scott has a strong track record of management, team development, strategic planning, and results-focused performance, with a consistent goal of delivering excellent customer experiences.
Robert B. Horsman - Chief Banking Officer
Robert has a 44-year career in San Diego commercial banking. For 28 of his 44 years in commercial banking, from September 1981 until October 2009, he was an executive with San Diego National Bank (SDNB). He co-founded the bank in 1981 and served as the bank’s President & CEO. Most recently Robert was Regional Chairman for the San Diego Region at U.S. Bank, a position he accepted in late 2009 after U.S. Bancorp acquired the subsidiary banks of First Bank of Oak Park. In 2013, he joined Torrey Pines Bank as San Diego Market Executive, a position he held until December 2014.
In addition to his banking career, Robert has been and continues to be very active with numerous prominent civic and philanthropic groups within San Diego. He is currently chairman of San Diego Zoo Global and serves on the board of Boy Scouts of America, San Diego-Imperial Council. Additionally, he has served as chairman of many of San Diego’s notable nonprofit organizations including the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, Scripps Mercy Hospital Foundation, San Diego Opera and the Kyoto Symposium Organization, among others.
Nasrin Rostami - Chief Risk Officer / Chief Operations Officer
Nasrin has over 25 years of banking experience, mostly concentrated in risk management and operations. During her career, she has been responsible for a number of critical areas, including operations, risk management, compliance, Anti-Money Laundering/BSA, audit, and the company's information technology and information security. She has been involved in several acquisition and merger processes from the beginning to the end, starting with the due diligence process to the successful staff integration and data conversion after merger completion.
Nasrin was a co-founder of San Diego Trust Bank. She joined Pacific Premier Bank as its Chief Risk Officer following the bank’s merger with San Diego Trust Bank.
